Title

e-EVN: EB111, RSG19

Abstract

We propose short e-VLBI observations of the radio source associated with the Dyson Sphere candidate VLASS J233532.86-000424.9. This is a relatively bright and steep spectrum radio source with a 150 MHz TGSS flux density of 113 mJy. At 2-4 GHz, VLASS detects it with a flux density of 25 mJy. By making standard continuum short e-VLBI observations, we can test whether the target VLASS J233532.86-000424.9 contains any compact structure on mas scales, and also check the suitability of J2335-0034 and J2341+0018 as potential phase calibrators.

Context for this data

This data is part of the archive of VLBI data maintained by JIVE on behalf of the EVN, a network of radio telescopes located primarily in Europe and Asia, with additional antennas in South Africa. The EVN archive itself has the DOI https://doi.org/10.17616/R3Z197
