Title

EVN mapping of 6.7 GHz maser in Cep A

Abstract

We propose to observe high-mass young stellar object, Cep A in which few 6.7 GHz maser spectral features has recently re-appeared for the third time. The aim is to measure maser position with a few mas accuracy and to explore the spot distribution and velocity structure of the maser emission at early stage of flare. The EVN data together with high cadence single dish monitoring will allow us to test plausible causes of maser variations, including sudden changes in accretion rate.

Context for this data

This data is part of the archive of VLBI data maintained by JIVE on behalf of the EVN, a network of radio telescopes located primarily in Europe and Asia, with additional antennas in South Africa. The EVN archive itself has the DOI https://doi.org/10.17616/R3Z197
