Dwarf galaxies have a very low luminosity and a low stellar mass. Some may host intermediate black holes (IMBHs), and display (faint) continuous jet and outflow activity with flat-spectrum and pc-scale compact radio cores. Such steady accretion and ejection activity might be quite common and significantly promote the growth of low-mass black holes in the early (z>4) universe. Recently, we have noticed that the dwarf galaxy TOLOLO 1437+030 at z=0.029 might be a nearby analogue. It hosts an IMBH with an Eddington ratio of ~0.4. High-resolution VLA observations at 1.4 and 4--8 GHz show that its radio counterpart has a compact structure (<70 mas) and a flat spectrum with a flux density of ~0.5 mJy. Here, we propose to observe the source for 8 hours per band with the full EVN at 1.6 and 5 GHz. The dual-frequency VLBI observations would allow us to uncover its pc-scale radio structure, search for a nearby IMBH radio core, and make direct comparisons with other VLBI-compact sources in the more distant irregular dwarf galaxies, where multi-band information is limited.
