magnetic propeller J0240+1952
LAMOST J024048.51+195226.9 (J0240+1952) is a distinctive magnetic propeller cataclysmic variable, possessing the fastest known rotating white dwarf. This proposal requests 7.5 hours EVN plus e-MERLIN time to produce a comprehensive radio view for this unique source, spanning from arcsecond to milli-arcsecond scale. The outcomes, especially the polarisation information, will significantly contribute to the verification of the origin of the radio emission in J0240+1952. Moreover, this study will enhance our comprehension of the electromagnetic interaction and evolution of magnetic propeller systems.
